Brisbane is GROWING UP!

The Brisbane City Council have released for consultation proposed changes to the Low-medium Density Zone in the City, which will ultimately allow for increased building heights in the LMR Zone. This is a great step in the right direction for achieving additional opportunities for infill development and provide for new housing products.

The regulations will be targeted on sites in close proximity to Major Centres and Public Transport. It will certainly allow for additional Apartment and Townhouse type development and ultimately more housing in the sector that was crippled by the changes to car parking rates and construction costs.
