There has been an influx of high-rise residential development in the more recent Neighbourhood Planning areas of Brisbane.  We have prepared and lodged a number of development applications for developments in West End, Woolloongabba, Greenslopes and Lutwyche as well as provided property advice on a number of other sites.  A trap for high-rise development has been the ‘storey’ definition, generally resulting in an impact on yield for flood affected sites in West End/South Brisbane in particular.

We are now seeing a significant push from Brisbane City Council on setbacks, servicing and deep planting on all high-rise developments.
