Allan Van Planning were engaged to manage the surveying and town planning aspects of the subdivision of a property located at Seven Hills, Brisbane. The site had an existing house and 2 road frontages, one frontage to a major road. The Brisbane City Plan 2014 does not allow for access to a major road, however in this instance access to each frontage of the site was the only way to retain the existing house.
Allan Van Planning had extensive negotiations with Council to achieve approval for the subdivision, gaining access from each frontage of the site. In addition, we were able to obtain approval for a lot below the minimum lot size. The result was a win for the client, who was able to retain the existing house on the site.
Another example of Allan Van Planning getting approval despite the challenges.
